Pigment is matched to your skin and hair, then built up across a course of sessions. The first is always deliberately light: it keeps the result natural, shows how your skin takes the pigment, and leaves room to refine in the sessions after.

A non-surgical treatment that places specialized pigment into the scalp to replicate the look of natural hair follicles. It's used to create the appearance of a fuller head of hair, a defined hairline, or added density through thinning areas.
Pigment is matched to your natural hair color and skin tone, and the hairline is designed around your face rather than copied from a template. Done properly, people notice you look sharper rather than noticing the work.
Most clients describe it as minimal and very manageable — closer to a light scratching sensation than a tattoo. If you're worried about it, say so at your consultation.
Results typically last several years before a touch-up is needed. How long depends on your skin type, your lifestyle and how much sun your scalp sees.
It depends on your current hairstyle and the look you're going for. Plenty of clients keep their hair and use SMP purely for density. TJ will tell you at the consultation which approach gets the most natural result.
Very little. Most clients go back to normal daily life shortly after their appointment, following the aftercare instructions they're given in the studio.

Yes. Strip scars, surgical scars and injury scars can be blended into the surrounding follicles. Scar tissue takes pigment differently, so bring photos or come in and we'll look at it properly.
Yes. Density work through the part and crown is common in the studio, kept soft so it sits under your own hair rather than replacing it.
